What is a Farmers Market?
A Farmers Market is a collection of independent, local growers who collaborate to offer farm products for sale in a convenient single location. Farmers markets offers a wide variety of products fresh from area farms including; shrubs, plants, landscape items, vegetables, flowers, various seedlings, baked goods, honey, soaps, hand cream, extracts, and other farm items. Locally sourced food is fresher, more nutritious, healthier, supports local farms, and strengthens the local economy.
What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members/subscribers pay at the onset of the growing season for a share of the anticipated harvest; once harvesting begins, they periodically receive shares of produce and/or farm products throughout the season.
- Mid-May to Mid-June for seedlings, plants, and baked goods
- Mid-June to October 31 for all farm products
- Wednesdays - 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturdays - 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
