Economic & Community Development Advisory Committee
The Economic & Community Development Advisory Committee is a "citizens" committee with open membership to all Fairfield residents, business owners, and educators who have a vested interest in community development. Meetings are open to the public.
The committee usually meets monthly the 1st Tuesday of the month 3:30pm at the Fairfield Community Center.

ECDC Committee
The Committee as a whole is led by the ECDC (Steering) committee made up of seven (7) members who are appointed by the Town Council at their Annual Organizational Meeting (Jan) to a three (3) year term, staggered so that members are appointed each year. When there is a permanent vacancy that falls below the minimum threshold (7), the Town Council may appoint a new member for the remainder of the unexpired term. The ECDC Committee is responsible for holding regular meetings and overseeing the implementation of the Town's strategic and comprehensive plans by appointing sub-committees to address certain projects or tasks.
