Budget Committee
The Budget Committee meets at the request of the Town Council and appoints from among its members a Chairman and a Secretary. The Committee meets no less than 60 days prior to the annual Town Meeting to review the municipal budget and make recommendations on the final budget, which will be presented to the voters of the Town.
The Committee holds additional joint meetings with the Town Council as it may deem necessary for proper consideration of the Town's services and finances. The Committee holds its final meeting no less than 30 days prior to annual Town Meeting to make specific recommendations that will be presented at the Town Meeting.
The Budget Committee is made up of nine voting members, three (3) of whom are appointed each year at the first Council meeting in January for a term of three (3) years. Members of the Town Council are non-voting members of the Budget Committee. Below are the current members of the Budget Committee:
